Crane Coupling
-
Introduction:
The Coupling is a connecting component in shafting transmission for the crane shafts of the motor, reducer, and wheels. It's constituted by two parts. One connects the drive shaft, another connects the driven shaft. There are two types: Fixed coupling and movable coupling. The commonly seen coupling for bridge cranes and gantry cranes is the gear coupling.
In high-speed and heavy-load power transmission, some couplings could buffer and absorb shock to improve the dynamic performance of shafting.
