Bridge Construction RTG Crane
-
Introduction:
The Rubber Tire Gantry Cranes or RTGs for bridge construction are usually employed to lift and transfer the heavy precast concrete objects such as bridges, beams, sections, segments, blocks, etc. These RTGs are an important lifting equipment in a precast concrete factory and road/bridge construction site. The Max. lifting capacity can reach 2,000 Tons.
-
Parameters:
-
Capacity: 20 to 2,000 Tons or customized
-
Lift Height: 5 to 80m or customized
-
Span: 5 to 50m or customized
-
Tire: Radial engineering tires, or explosion-proof solid tires for special use.
-
Steering Mechanism: oil cylinder driven steering, with a steering angle of -5-950, to achieve working conditions such as oblique steering of the entire crane. The center 360 degree steering can be achieved by using a steering motor (or gear motor) and a gear mechanism.
-
Structure:
This RTG crane is composed of the gantry structure, girder, crane traveling system, power system, electrical system, cab, lifting system and spreader.
-
Application:
-
Transport or stack the prepared concrete beams from the beam making pedestal to the designated location.
-
Lift and transfer the concrete beams, sections, segments and blocks onto the beam transport vehicle.
-
For installation of prefabricated bridge segments: lifting the prefabricated segments from the transport vehicle, cross line transportation and walking to the installation position to install, align, and splice the prefabricated segments.
-
Lift other items such as steel reinforcement frames and templates in the prefabrication yard to help the construction of the prefabrication yard.
